im just reading the Classic Rock mag with Bad Company on the front cover (great band, all line-ups), and a couple of interesting comments are posed (Joe Elliott made some VERY valid comments about the state of the music biz as opposed to the biz of making music)......two things that stuck out were: a) where are all the decent up and coming female classic rock singers? (and when i say decent, i dont mean screechers, yellers or alterna-chicks, i mean real singers such as Ann Wilson or Sass Jordan.....i havent heard anything that cracks my wheel enough to stop listening to those 2 already mentioned) b) is there any band able to step up and become classic out there in the same way as say The Rolling Stones, Queen or Led Zeppelin? (if there is, i havent heard them yet) conclusion: im so glad the classic acts are still churning out the good stuff and having fun doing so :)
