im making the heartbreaking decision to half loan my 16.3/17hh gelding ex racer. to stay at current yard. He is not a novice ride and can buck occasionally but usually only when his saddle is uncomfortable so not very often. he is now coming back into work following a suspensory injury however i cannot afford to keep him all mine and do not have the time he needs to get him back to full strength. he is a beautiful mover and has been competed SJ and xco schooled however he isnt the bravest out xco so i was focussing more on his SJ as he is brilliantly scopey. i will be very strict as to who will be half loaning him in that i will require references. he is such a sweet boy it will not be an easy transition for me however i know it is the right thing for him.
