im on the spectrum (i am autistic--highly functioning supposedly :D) and i can drive people around me absolutely bonkers because i can listen to one song for weeks. weeks! months even. on a loop. relentlessly. over and over and over. occasionally even as i sleep--with a headphone. my children make jokes about it--crazy-dance to it, rap to it and when all else fails, BEG ME TO STOP, PLEASE MOM! IM GONNA DO THE DISHES NOW, PROMISE!! (or they pass by me and reenact the last scene from godfather III where mary gets shot- this was the score that accompanied that terribly tragic scene.) my clinic staff lend me their earphones (eto please, doctora, heres this wonderful invention. TAKE IT!! USE IT!! PARANG AWA MO NA!!) this is my beaten-to-death piece these days. mascagnanis cavalleria rusticana. so beautiful and so soulful and so evocative. so these days, in my mind at least, i am the italian, olivia, at the turn of the century, working in the vineyards of tuscany, looking out the vineyards horizon after a full days work. haha! may you get as much enjoyment from this as i have, thus far, gotten. https://youtube/watch?v=9MqTvfXIzug
