im supposed to believe god puts people together this way? is that how its supposed to be? well, then this god shouldnt mind a simple inquisitive disassemblage piece by piece, part by part to see how everything adds up. take this hand for instance, check its grip and kindness. is their a balance? is something missing? examine that heart. rip it out, break it, chill it until cold, stab it, put it thru the ringer, feel its undying forgiveness and luv. open that skull, peek inside, count the firing synapses, add a little cocaine and arsenic, watch it drool. wholes greater than individual parts... is that what im supposed to believe? is that the prescription? where are the interchangeable pieces? arent the interfaces seamlessly sublime? (no living or deceased entity, sentient or not, was harmed in the creation of this poem)
