im thankful that my kitchen is filled with the biggest mess it has ever seen, and that my home has been filled with the smiles of so many i love. im thankful that i have a roof to gather them under, and for the comfort their presence brings. im thankful to have spent most of the last 24 hours cooking and baking and i am thankful to have nourished hearts, and tummys. :P im thankful for a job that has allowed me to give any part of this gift. and i am especially thankful for a job that i love as dearly as my family and friends. i am thankful for all of the people who see and appreciate a piece of my art, because without that, today wouldnt have been the same. i may have missed a few faces i hold so near and dear, but i am thankful for the wonderful breaths of life they all enjoyed and for those in the future that we can share together. and while i try to show my gratitude in small ways every day to those i cherish, i have to admit that today i am also thankful for the person i have become. it isnt always easy, and historically has been one of my larger struggles, to be proud of myself.. but i am. and it feels good. and to go full circle, i am thankful for each and every person i have ever crossed paths with because... because of you, i am happy. i am healthy. and i am filled with love to give, and surrounded by love to receive. thank you.
