Shoot your own films, write them, direct them, and get it done. By any means necessary!! Its your destiny!! Take control of your career. Study your craft by reading the very best of acting books, taking good classes with a teacher or coach your believe in, and you feel comfortable with, do student films, short films, web television series, indie feature films, major feature films, television, etc.... Watch interviews on YouTube with your favorite actors, and directors, take the right acting workshops, but check into them very strongly first, make sure you have up to date and good photos, and a nice reel, which doesnt have to be long, but shows you off to the best capacity, get out there and network, network, network. Go to IMDb and read the trivia and quotes on some of your personal favorite actors and writers and directors, to see their story, and in your acting, make sure to always be in the moment, use yourself in the part, as well as your imagination, and working off the other actor in the scene, and research every role you play, and every character you intend to portray. Acting is in my blood. I started a little bit later in life then most, but have been doing it for a while now, along with writing and directing, and some years have had great success, others it moves slowly, but doesnt matter, as you are planting seeds, and getting people to know you, and your work, so just take it step by step, and never let anyone tell you theres a time limit, when you should make it. Remember its not all about talent, sometimes its just about knowing the right people and them believing in you, or sometimes its because you choose the right relatives---lol!!! But just march forward with confidence, and always keep improving your acting/writing/directing!!
