immigrant youth from California traveled to D.C. to bring the message of 2 Million Too Many to Representatives Xavier Becerra (D-CA) and Loretta Sanchez (D-CA), who have yet to condemn the President’s massive deportation programs and unwillingness to expand Deferred Action for all. Orange County residents Luis Ramirez, Dulce Saavedra, and Jonathan Bibriesca, as well as Los Angeles County residents Cesar Vega Magallon, Mercedes Montano, and Kenia Alcocer have occupied the Washington D.C. offices of Xavier Becerra and Loretta Sanchez in order to move them to: • Provide leadership within the CHC on ending deportations • Publicly call on the President to expand deferred action for all and stop all deportations immediately • More actively serve to stop the cases of constituents in deportation proceedings
