in 1988 i was 11 i believe and me and mom went looking for places to open a bbq place god knows what we found wasnt nice or even being used as a cafe at the time but my parents have never been afraid of hard work so they did what they could and opened Smoke House BBq we changed locations a few times changed names but always tried to serve quality food at a quality price. So many things Ill miss about the cafe but watching my mom work 12/13 hrs a day wont be one of them 25 yrs isnt too shabby Im so proud of what my parents have done not only for me but for the city of Altus Friday will be the end of an erea for a number of ppl Thank you so much Eddie and Sharon Clendennen sad that the kids wont get to wash dishes at 12/13yrs old but happy the kids will get to see granny away from work love you mom thanks for all youve done
