in a nearby pasture/ranch that is for sale... i see this 1 horse in the field every day, or standing in the corner looking across the highway to other horses and bulls, cows and such. My heart went out to her. I visited her twice. She has very damaged rear hooves not shoed. the front are shoed OK. I brought some sugar cubes... nothing going. Today I brought apple slices... still nothing. However... in my heart I feel like this horse is so isolated and has flies on its belly, back and sides. : / poor baby! She does accept my gentle rubs on her head and face and does come to the fence, but maybe she just can benefit from some company and talking about the weather. Any thoughts??
