in another chess tournament im doing very well also.in the first round, 10 of us, each play 18 total games. i sit in 2nd place in the crowd 1 game out of being in a tie with him. if all goes well in two games that are near end, one is a forced draw as i found a way to trap this guy into a draw which probably would have been a loss , and the other one is a win IF I DONT BLUNDER IT AWAY! that will put the presure on the guy in 1st place as i could end up taking over 1st after completion of these 2 games. how long this can go on is the only question, there are a 100 in the pack and it only gets harder in the later rounds. 3 advance in each round so it looks like i may get to advance. i might add, all but 1 of these guys in this round are rated higher than me so this is a good sign.
