in fifa 12 i started out as a scrub, didnt really understand chemistry or the transfer market. i started out making a bronze team, squeaking in wins getting 400 coins at a time. my team slowly improved, but i looked at the transfer market to see some of the 100,000 coin players and it made me sad that i felt i would never be able to use them. one day, when i had a budget gold team, i played against a gold serie a team with some silvers. i thought woohoo, silvers an easy win little did i know one of those silvers was el sharaawy, the most godly silver of them all, 5* skills and weakfoot with a killer longshot and pace. he scored some amazing goals on me and i was beaten heavily. i couldnt be mad though, i was merely amazed. i messaged the guy and asked him how he possibly scored those shots. he said just have a hit, see what happens. the next game i decided i would put this into practice. come late into a tight game, the ball falls to raul meireles well outside the area. i go for it. i score a glorious longshot. my eyes were opened to a new style of play. no longer would i be a finessing pacewhore, i would become the god of longshots. i built a team focussed on longshots. scored some stunning goals with the likes of forlan and gonzalez. beautiful players. my team value was slowly increasing. i was getting a bank of players. i decided to change it up once more, built my first hybrid. hulk went on to become one of my favourite players int the game. strong, fast, skilful, and a glorious longshot. expensive too. he showed me money could be worth it. after getting bored of that team, i decided to focus on trading. i NEEDED expensive players. i traded npower league 1 english bronzes every day. i made good profits. finally i could afford upgraded van persie at cam. i held my breath as i bought him for 45k. i had huge expectations, but i was nervous. he was absolutely stunning. the longshots i scored with him were consistent and amazing. what a player. the rest of the team was a little underwhelming, but it didnt matter cause van persie had them on his back. finally the end of fifa 12 was coming. i looked back at my meagee beginnings and smiled. i missed the small time, but i loved the luxury players. i wanted to go out with a piece of the beginning. i was going to buy el sharaawy. 65k on a silver player. unheard of. but i knew i had to do it. with my remaining cash, i built the most beautiful silver team around him. great players everywhere. it was the best experience ive ever had playing fifa. going into games with a full silver team and beating gold teams was so satisfying. and i was so proud to have el sharaawy. i worked for months to earn that gold. and he was the product of it. and he was worth every coin. god i miss that team
