in my ear, what makes this playing exceptionally captivating is the sound recording performance that has a steady flow of Balance between tension and release, and is achieved by way of smooth rhythmic phrasings over a greater passage of pulse...the guitar I mean...and also the various nodes of melodic density are spun and then reeled back in, but with an over-reaching arc of intensity building...now that wasnt so difficult. I want to hear a guitarist describe the various sounds of cymbal and tones of a comp built around a drum solo and then tell me I didnt satisfy or rise to the occasion, at least in measure of verbiage delineation, lol...I could just have said this guitar work is cool and intense enough that I like it tremendously! words words words...so inefficient when it comes to describing sound. ...So here I offer my advice to all musicians whose music is most dear, do not take critics words to heart, they are only subjective opinions...you know how your music makes you feel, and a good review could potentially limit your path of constant growth, just as a bad one could have the same effect if you allow yourself to believe the fools who became critics because they cannot play guitar like this guy below. Kudos! (sidenote)- ...and all this applies to all music and all musicians, maybe even all people...anybody who doesnt like advice, mine or anybodys, simply ignore it...such is noise, and even in a grand buttressed cathedral even the loudest coughs, sneezes and applause will eventually entropy into piles of dust, but music lives beyond the Mind.
