in the spirit of all the 2104 posts I have seen... This year has been a really mixed bag for me - some real highs and some real lows. On the plus side, I spent the first 9 months of the year playing shows and touring the Country with my bros in The Playbook - including our biggest tour to date with our mates in The Drive Home (and mostly with Your Weight In Gold and Satellites) and playing with some amazing bands everywhere. I had some amazing adventures with some amazing people, and I am extremely thankful for the time I got to spend with every one of them. I also had the absolute privilege of becoming an Uncle to Amelia Rose Parker, who is an absolute joy for our entire family. I have finished my second last year of my course on a high, with straight HDs and a renewed passion for my awesome job, and last but not least I have had a great year, including currently being on my first holiday with my amazing other half Natalii Franin. On the other hand, I had a horrible start to the year. My family lost my cousin Jeremy at age 25, and not a day goes by when I dont think of him, and the awesome times we had together on the farm, and when he moved to Melbourne. I also had to make the tough and somewhat heartbreaking decision to quit the band that I have poured my heart and sweat (and not an inconsiderable amount of my cash) into for nearly 5 years. I feel like, as mixed a bag as 2014 was, that it has all laid the groundwork for what I think has the potential to be a big, massive and amazing 2015, and I look forward to sharing it all with you. Thanks to everyone who has been there for me in both the good and bad times this year, I love you all. Peace
