SFHS-SGC GRAND CHRISTMAS PARTY 2013-AN ASTOUNDING SUCCESS!!! THANKS TO ALL FOR MAKING THIS A HUGE SUCCESS & A WELL-ATTENDED SGC BIG AFFAIR WITH A TOTAL OF (29)SFHS/DMMHS BATCHES REPRESENTED THAT EVENING. OUR HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE HELPED US, IN ONE OR ANOTHER TO MAKE THIS SUPER-SAYA & MEANINGFUL EVENT POSSIBLE! CHEERS TO ALL! The traditional SFHS-SGC GRAND CHRISTMAS PARTY 2013 on its 7th year, which was held on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Tramway Garden Buffet in Timog, QC, turned out to be, once again A REAL SUCCESS! It was all fun, everybody had a great time, well-attended by around 300 SFHS/DMMHS ALUMNI from the following represented (29) BATCHES 68, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 89, 90, 91, 93, 94, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2014 and SFHS faculty members and some other Stakeholders. Our apologies, sapagkat ang iba po ay wala ng mauupuan sa dami ng umattend considering that it was even held on a weekday (Thursday) at galing pa sa kanya-kanyang opisina ang karamihan at may pasok pa kinabukasan, but still it was well attended. There was a good cross section of the Alumni in attendance. Kayat talaga namang ang bawat isa ay nag-uumapaw sa saya noong gabing iyon seeing and mingling with this very rare chance of bonding with classmates, batchmates, schoolmates and friends. The overall conduct of this SGC GRAND CHRISTMAS PARTY was well-organized, very productive, nice ambiance of the venue and the buffet dinner was great. In fact, the allotted time for us in the contract with the venue was only (3) hours. The party started at 7pm and after (3) hours, the SGC decided to extend for another (2) hours because of so much fun and enjoyment in the party upang hindi mabitin ang lahat sa kasayahan ng gabing iyon. Thus, we ended up at 12midnight at ang lahat ay umuwing nakangiti. Sa sobrang saya ng big event na ito at walang humpay ang sayawan sa dance floor, mainit na chikahan to the max at bonding moments sa isat-isa, makabagbag-damdaming surprise tribute during the program rendered by the SGC Prexy & Officers para sa ating mahal na SFHS Principal, Retiree/Honoree Dr. Milagros San Juan at sa sobrang excitement sa fabulous raffle prizes na ipinamigay ng ating mga generous Sponsors/Donors during the party, ang lahat ay nag-enjoy up to 12 midnight. We are so much blessed and fortunate that every year during the past seven (7) years in the SGC, we are able to successfully hold our SGC Grand Christmas Party together. We cherish the good memories of our first ever Grand Christmas Party at the Casino Filipino in Parañaque City way back in 2006. And every year thereafter, we were likewise able to successfully hold our SFHS Grand Alumni Homecoming spearheaded by the SGC, wherein SFHS/DMMHS Batches were tracked down and painstakingly consolidated by the SGC since 2006. The special presentation from B73 during the SFHS-SGC Grand Christmas Party on November 28, 2013 was simply amazing. The emcees-Ms. Aurea Tamayo-Ho (Overall Programme In-charge) with the Professional Emcee Mr. Froilan Calo Jr., certainly did a good job in facilitating a smooth flow of the program, making the program short, simple and lively, ensuring that there was never a dull moment in this momentous event. The audience filled up the dance floor when their favorite disco tunes were played. At talaga namang muling nasilayan ang paghataw sa umaatikabong sayawan ang ating mga Kikonians at Nanonians na talaga namang super-sayang nagsipag-enjoy sa ating burning dance floor. Ganyan tayo sa SGC mula 2006 magpa-hanggang ngayon kayat napakasarap talagang ulit-ulitin ang saya with our classmates, batchmates and long lost friends in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. Isa na namang patunay ng mainit na pagkakaisa nating lahat just like one big family....in one direction, in one mission! MILAGROS SAN JUAN with the very touching Tribute Powerpoint Presentation personally prepared and rendered by the SGC Founding President himself, Retired Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo, which really made the attendees/viewers teary-eyed that night. During the tribute, ang lahat ng mga SGC OFFICERS, SGC SCHOLARS, SFHS FACULTY TEARCHERS and some REPRESENTATIVES from the DIFFERENT SFHS/DMMHS BATCHES offered red roses to Dr. San Juan on stage. The SGC prexy also dedicated this powerpoint presentation to all our SGC OFFICERS in the TEAM SGC and to all our beloved SFHS/DMMHS ALUMNI here and abroad who continuously give us their unwavering wholehearted love and support. This powerpoint tribute was well-presented with lots of sealed-in good memories about the 7-year-old SGC with numerous pictures of what the SGC has done so far...with various worthy undertakings/activities, projects and programs and all the hardships we have been through in the SGC SINCE 2006, in maintaining the valued established LEGACY OF THIS SGC noble organization. The attendees became more teary-eyed while the pictures in the powerpoint presentation with the following very touching background music Wind Beneath My Wings, Parang Kailan Lang by Florante and Salamat were being played. After the tribute powerpoint presentation comes the birthday song followed by the blowing of the birthday cake candle and gift-giving for the Retiree/Honoree because incidentally, it was also the birthday of Dr. San Juan on that very day. Another highlight of the program during the SFHS-SGC GRAND CHRISTMAS PARTY 2013 was the official announcement and the OATH-TAKING CEREMONY of the newly-appointed SFHS-SGC OFFICERS.
