inbox : Faith is the Answer The mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. ~ 1 Timothy 3: 16 However contradictory this statement may appear to you, it remains an indisputable fact of the Christian faith in all its complexity and simplicity. Where else would you find God assuming a human form or a King living as a simple town cabinet-maker? Kings live in palaces, and yet the Prince of peace had no place to rest His head. Jesus stood His ground against the scholars of His time and overwhelmed them with His knowledge and intellectual abilities. And yet simple people understood Him when He explained profound truths to them in the form of parables. The circumstances of your life often confuse and trouble you. Your peace of mind can be disturbed by fear, illness, death and so many other negative things. Your faith so easily becomes unsettled and then you start questioning Gods love and the purpose of your faith. This is the time for relying on God. He arranges everything for the benefit of those who love Him. For the faithful, good is born from evil. From the evil of Golgotha, the victory of the resurrection emerged. God has a sacred purpose for everything that happens in your life, and when the time is right this purpose will be revealed. Our daily Prayer Thank You, Lord, that I can accept Your every act in my life because I know that everything works for the good of those who love You. Amen.
