(info from seeds-plants.net) This eye-catching flower is known as the Ti tree or the Melaleuca. The Melaleuca is in the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). The flower color varies from white to pink, red, pale yellow or greenish and grow in dense clusters along the stems. There are over 200 recognised species, most native to Australia, and a few species in Malesia & New Caledonia. They are shrubs & trees growing to 6 ½ - 98 ft tall. The leaves are dark green to gray-green – & theyre evergreen.
