interesting night at work, russ and i got off the elevator at work, in the basement, we smelled something like burning rubber/wires, looked around and couldnt find anything. so we cleaned, it got stronger, and was moving upstairs. so i called the banks management number? they would put in a ticket to be looked at monday. well i get a call 5 min. later. russ and i need to get out and call the fire department. they closed down the block, and 2 fire trucks came, bout 15 firemen, they looked and looked couldnt figure it out. one of the guys there kept questioning me about when we used the vac. before or after we smelled the smell, i repeated like 5 times...... we just got there, and smelled. no the vac hadnt been used. ohh you used the vac then? no!!!!! what freaking part dont you understand??? so 10 min. later, they find a huge rug someone had put downstairs to flatten since it had been rolled since last year. they put it on a floor light.... it was melting the rubber, and could have started a fire!!!! i touched the light after everyone left, its hot!!!! and how was everyone elses night?? lol
