interesting thought. I believe Satan wants to not only be like the most high, but I believe he wants to prevent his judgment. thats why I believe he keeps trying to make man guilty of the same sin he enacted, which is trying to put himself in the place of God. in doing so he thinks if God saves them he can be saved as well and still contend with God and try to enact his desire to be God. the difference is knowledge of Good and evil is what allows sin to be inputed to you. satan had that knowledge from the beginning. we did not, people think it was the fruit itself that caused the fall, it was adams disobedience, the fruit just allowed the sin to be imputed to him. before he ate the fruit it was impossible for sin to enter into the world, because no one knew good or evil. Satan needed us to know good and evil because he knew God would save his children, but satan alone is responsible for his fall. he can never be redeemed and it haunts him and motivates his every move, while he tries to portray himself as God. he is trying to accomplish an impossible task, which is to try to prove God is wrong in his decision making and thus getting him off the hook, while also claiming that God isnt worthy to be God. hes trying to figure this out. but in the end he will only prove Gods worthiness. he as the antichrist will try to escape his fate by seeking to change time, but then he is GIVEN a short time and is very wroth with anger. what is changing time you might ask? just a theory, but I assume its like a bill murray in ground hog day kind of situation. there are so many movies with this idea of redoing things until its perfect. the new tom cruise movie is like that as well. there are many occult symbols like the snake with his tail in his mouth, that stands for eternity, but really its a loop. lol the movie looper is somewhat like that. you can spot a lot of satans influence in hollywood. like Godzilla (cool movie but the symbolism is there) hes a beast that rises out of the water to save mankind from two powerful enemies that man can not stop. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies:and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy:and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified (Revelation 11:3-8 KJV) The enemy is good and the righteous are evil. just something to think about.
