investigate, prosecute and prove his culpability and liability in due process first. it is preemptive and premature to discuss penalty or sentence before all that. the law on specific crimes are clear on penalties and would follow after due process. note, the suspect is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. no one shall be deprived of life or liberty without due process. in fairness and fair play, it should not be stated US marine in transgender killing, that is already a conclusive statement. it should be corrected as US marine suspected in transgender killing. he has not even been charged yet. this is not in defense of the suspect. let us recognize cause and effect and support conclusion of effect with factual evidence, not with just allegation, theory or speculation. we are a government of laws and go by rule of law, not by publicity, emotion or personal impressions.
