invise solutions review, I am very displeased with my experience at Invise Solutions. My story has been going on since December 23rd and has not been resolved yet on January 11th. I hope readers will read the entire story so they feel my frustration with the Owner and his staff. I cannot speak of their computer knowledge as they have not done anything for me. But the customer service is the worst I ever had. I have been misled, lied to and promised things that have not been kept. My laptop charge jack has been working its way loose so I searched the internet to find a local company that could replace it before it failed completely. Invise solutions was the first one I found that said they did that type of work. In hind sight I wish I had read the reviews first which would have prompted me to look for another company. Instead I called and was told no problem bring the machine down before 6:00 the next day. It was obvious what the problem was and no further evaluation was needed. I work out of town and use my machine every day so I did not want to drop it off, I told them I would bring it by to give them information on the part needed and scheduled an appointment with them for the next day. I got there early and ended up waiting for nearly 45 minutes for someone to show up. That was my first bad experience and had I had any idea what was to come that would have been the end of it. Given the time of year right before Christmas and that they were closed early due to the holiday (by the way he did not tell me on the phone, I would have waited until after the holiday). After he finally got there I was told the part would be in the following Saturday and they would call me to bring the machine in for same day repair. I was pleased again and gave him a $40 dollar cash deposit for a $90.00 quoted job. Saturday came and went with no call to inform me of any delay. I called Monday afternoon to find out what the status was on the part and was told the holiday rush had delayed shipment. Which was understandable, he assured me it was going to be delivered the next day on Tuesday. I assumed he looked at the tracking information in order to make the promise. Tuesday came and went again with no call to keep me informed of the situation. I called them again on Wednesday and asked for the tracking information so I could find out for myself what was going on as I needed to have it wrapped up by Friday before leaving town again. That phone call was where I started to get upset with them. The technician , Mark decided to tell me it was not possible to find out what is going on with a tracking number and that it probably shipped USPS and no tracking information is given with them. That is when I figured out he was lying to me, just making excuses on why it was not there. I buy parts for a living from suppliers around the world and know better than that. I am sure he never bothered to look. He went on and on and on for what seemed like an eternity and I could not get him to stop talking long enough to just give me the tracking number or the supplier name so I could chase it down myself. My wife actually took the phone from me and tried herself as she could tell how frustrated I was getting over it. By the time she got off the phone she was wound up just as bad as I was. She did manage to get him to say he would look at it and call her back in a few minutes. Three hours had gone by and we still had not heard back from them. On Thursday I decided It was not going to happen so I called another guy in Orem who said he could do it and asked me to drop it off to him. At this point I have wasted the previous 4 days and figured I would be without my machine for the next week until I come back to town. To my surprise the man called me back within the hour after i dropped off and let me know the jack was not damaged but the mother board was cracked and the trace on the board was separated. My first thought was great i dropped it off to someone wanting put a new mother board in and charge me several hundred dollars. But he went on to tell me it could be repaired and he would be into it 3 hours e was done when he said and charged me $15.00 less than Invise had quoted me. I was so happy I gave him $100.00 bill and told him to keep the change. At this point had I been able to go down and get my money back all would be good and i would not be writing this review or novel however you want to look at it. But no, its far from over. Still being upset with my experience I asked my wife to call them on Monday to arrange get my $40.00 refunded. She did, she explained we had gone to someone else given the issues we encountered and we would like our money back. the guy, i assume was Mark again all but called her a liar saying there is no way we could have gotten it fixed somewhere else and on the same day. He was rude and very unprofessional to her. He told her he would only Give us back $30.00. She told him he would have to give us back the full $40.00 which prompted him to tell her he only has to give us 50% and he was being generous by offering us $30.00. She told him she would like to talk to the owner of the company and he would not give her the number or tell her that he would have the owner call her. He just kept arguing like before when he was telling us how the tracking system works. I am even more upset at this point after hearing that and seeing how upset he had made her. I went to his shop and of course nobody was there so i called and left a message about my frustration and demanded the owner return my call and refund my money. In the mean time another prospective customer had come buy and asked me how things were going. I told him all was good other than not being able to get a hold of Invise to resolve my problem with them. He asked what that was so I told him, and he turned around and left. I assume he had an appointment and Invise called to see why he was not there because not long after I went home the owner Mike called me saying he was responding to my message, and also telling me it was illegal to turn people away from his business. That seems to be the real reason he called as you will soon see in my story. He spent several minutes apologizing for the delays on my part and after telling him about his guy Marks irresponsible customer service he apologized several times for him. It was after all that he told me about the law. Which is not true, I have first amendment rights to say what is true about things and I did not slander in the process. So I feel good about what I said and even better if that guy went to the place I recommended to him. (e-mail me on yahoo if you want to know who that was) So back to my story, Mike the owner told me he would make a full refund of my money. I thought now were getting somewhere and told him I could be there in 5 minutes to pick it up. Well he told me no he was just getting ready to leave so i said can you bring it by, to which he said he should send Mark by with it to apologize to us. That was not a good idea in my opinion as he had verbally assaulted my wife and I could not be sure that would just go away with no repercussions. So I asked him to just drop it in my mail box which he agreed to and promised it would be there the next day on Tuesday. Well Tuesday came and went, Wednesday came and went I called again had to wait again for them to call back nobody at their shop again. Finally got a call after hours of course, with excuses on how busy he was and another promise to have it in my mail box Friday. Well it is Sunday now and luckily for you all my Broncos are getting ready to start so i will end this. Still no check, is this guy really going to just rip me off,,,,REALLY? not without me doing everything i can to inform the public of their incompetence and lack of customer care. I agree with Tyler Lee that Invise must be writing their own positive reviews as I do not believe there is any way they have ever treated anyone honestly. scoonrdog
