it always amazes me how folks set aside what they believe,....Seattle can be quite anti-military spending (not anti-soldier), but bring in the Blue Angels and some aerial acrobatics and the link between these jets and military spending/violence all but disappears. Criticize it and one becomes a wet noodle. None of this differs from those parades we see in Moscow or North Korea where the military hardware and troops parade before the rulers. Only here it is a reason to get into a boat and go onto the lake and revel.... Just remember, most places in the world where these jets fly overhead have people cowering and seeking cover due to their destructive capacity. I started my work life in a large corporation building radar for these jets.... Oh, just let it go, enjoy it.... I suppose that is why I see so few paying attention to and/or helping the homeless. Just let it go...enjoy life. Come on, Seattle. Are you really this two-faced? OK, I do it too,... (just not over fighter jets....), set aside what I believe,...and it sucks when I do it. I suck when I do it. I couldnt figure out the malaise I felt this morning. I think this is it.... we have met the enemy and it is us...(a la Pogo).
