it has become a general trend, whenever any tragedic and calamities event take place in the country, we start analyzing the event in a multiple way, alas, it were happened much earlier, things would not have been like this. Anyway a lot of work will have to do on the various aspects of disaster management in the country. it has to made a part of our all time national campaign. But on both fronts of disaster, whether pre- preparation and post management of disaster, it has to be addressed in different way. If we interrupt nature just for greed, not for need based on well scientifically thought out studies and reserch, then it should have completely banned. Now the time has come when we should constitute a national committee on scientific environmental and economic feasibility study for all dams constructed already in the country and to be constructed in the country. I don think a huge investment done over dams and river valley projects have any economic reason to conitinue
