it has often been said that i am quite the cunning linguist......and i take it upon myself from time to time and then and again to remind you of pieces of the vernacular that are teetering on the edge of non existence....words on the endangered species list and least we forget them.....they will be lost forever in the wind. i single handedly stand before you to remind you of a word that is on its last leg, but well overdue for a comeback....a word so satisfying that it knows no race....it knows no color....it KNOWS NO CREED......can i get and amen?? a word that is in one syllable perfect to describe someone you know....maybe even someone you are (hush falls over the crowd) that word my friends......that word is mooch. let he who hath stand before me and has not at one time or another either been victim or perpetrator of a mooching. the act of taking just a few things that would often be considered low hanging fruit in the day to day existence mooching things like change off people oh.....hey man.....you got .50 cents or hey man can i bum a smoke or bogarts half your fries in a bag while your driving. these people are mooches! mooches arent dangerous, the are usually quite docile and forgetful people who practicing mooching.....those who forget pens and papers in class. yes it is time to reinvigorate the word mooch. go out, be one.....be the victim once in a while.... live on mooches!!!!
