it is a great day today for NOUSPR and members, for the first time since its inception have got a budget for two salaried staff, time for informal and non paid system (volunteerism) is phasing out.I need to seat back and memorize how I conceived the idea of forming an organization, left every thing I used to do for myself and committed my time and skills to this. Like Moses in the wilderness , how many times did I want to abandon the idea and go back to square 0?, how many times did it show less or no hope at all? when did it how that at one day it will be an organization? and how many times did I mate discouragements and challenges? stepping stones are made right out of this experience that 5 years of(trial and error) building an organization calls for patience and endurance. Like a woman in labor ward whose looking at the baby takes away all her labor pain, so is a visionary person seeing an Idea from his head turned into an institution that can pay salaries to skilled laborers.
