it is likely that there will be more mass shootings this week, this month, this year. violence is regular. in the US we have underlying violence in criminal activity related to domestic issues and poverty. we have violence due to underlying racial disparity. in the third world there is violence in wars over control of resources and power. its just another form of violence, isnt it? we spent trillions of dollars in revenge for the deaths of our 3000 Trade Ctr victims and killed 100s of thousands of Iraqi and afghan ppl. did we really get what we sought? is the world a safer place because bin laden is gone? are we a just society while running Guantanamo? do we really have justice across racial lines inside our own country? violence and injustice go hand in hand. know justice - know peace. no justice - no peace
