it is sadistic to hear that Zimbabwe is leading in the literacy when that does not stretch to help in any way the ills and the woes facing the country. The situation where the academic system teaches merely useless theory which is neither attached or even applicable to what is needed for development is scandalous. The syllabuses herein are far fetched and useless. Why cant we invest in a different education system where every citizen is equipped with a certain form of profession. Why cant we substitute the current systeem with a more technical and professional academic system. For instance opening schools of engineering, car assembling, legal schools, agric schools, and many practical based education to equip every citizen with an ability to improve the nation in some way. The current system is bottle neck, un friendly, neo colonialistic and more badly a modern way of creating class systems. Some may fail o level but may make a good engineer, farmer or mechanic. think about it
