it kills me how some people, no matter what, always have something negative to say about a business, even if it is the smallest thing......yet, they are first to tell us what we should do or you need to do this..... ill tell you what you should do pal, go risk your own money opening up a business when knowing there is no guarantee of profit....go find competent employees and treat them well....go get a tax id#...go set up payroll...go make a schedule....go put in 70 hours a week EVERY week....go pay employees on time even when business is slow...go home from work and do 3 hours of paperwork...go get all of the proper permits and pay all of the fees associated with the business....go make orders weekly so as to have what customers ask for as best as you can...go pay rent to your landlord....go pay electric, water, gas, cable, phone, internet, etc.....go months and months without a paycheck when you first open up or when that blizzard cripples business for two weeks.....go deal with constant sales reps and various organizations always looking for hand-outs......go deal with tax return season when we small business owners OWE money instead of waiting on a return from the government......go deal with zero paid personal or vacation days.......go deal with buying your own ridiculously expensive health insurance...go deal with not having the benefit of sick days.......and finally, go open up your own place and listen to annoying people just like you telling you what you should do..... 9 out of 10 people that make up the general public are so appreciative and supportive, and we they are the reason we are self-employed.....for that 1 person out of 10 that knows it all, heres what you should do..... shut your mouth when you have no clue what we go through
