it truly does come down to the present moment..... the past is what it is, the word literally defines itself... its past let it go... the present literally defines itself also... its the present tense the only reality of the three, [ past present future ] one you have to let go [ the past ] the future is created out of the present.... but when the present moment is experienced again... then there is another future moment to experience, but remember it can only be experienced now... the religious mind will look back at bible history and will for the most part live there life according to the history that has been handed down, and live according to traditions and doctrines of man... they will live according to translations and re- translations of what they call the word of god... when reality is they are reading a letter.... even reading the teachings of the man jesus,.... he taught that everything I profess to be you are... everything that is of god, spirit, father, source, kingdom..... whatever you choose to call it ..... I AM.. THIS IS WHY so many people that get this revelation, I AM THAT, I AM.... THEY understand if you keep looking to the past, the history of a flesh man, then you will never experience your true identity in the very present moment NOW..even in the translation and the re- translation of scripture that is wrote about the man jesus, telling creation that if they will just look within there own consciousness, there own divine self, there true identity.... they will find.... the word they have searched for in scripture... search the scripture for in it you think you have eternal life but it is that which testifies of the one I AM... UNDERSTAND.. you are the word, I am the word.. your word, my word, the word I am is the creator.. there is no source outside of my own divine infinite being... the one I AM... I am and you are the one that empowers the word, that gives life.. you know reality is... there is no one to save, if theres anything to do, its to tell people who they really are... actually who they have always been... and they will only receive this when there ground is fertile
