Heres the breakdown.... - Jimi Hendrix is interred at Greenwood Cemetery in Renton, WA, the same location of his mother’s, Lucille Jeter, grave-site in Seattle, WA - funeral services are held at Dunlop Baptist Church and attended by original Experience members Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding, as well as Miles Davis, John Hammond, Johnny Winter, Eric Burdon and Eric Clapton, along with all the members of Derek & the Dominoes - Jimi died September 18th, 1970, at the age of 27, of asphyxiation, in an apartment in London, England - inhaled his own vomit while intoxicated on barbiturates, which the coroner ruled was an death accidental.
