😬it was a VERY loooooong day today! I didnt sleep until 7:30am this morning, and then had to get up to get ready for my appt with my surgeon (and of course everything takes me 3X as long to do now!). It was good news though! He is letting me get up and BE up as much as I want now(within reason) and he wants me to walk for exercise (again, within reason and starting out slow and steady). He says everything looks good and as long as I dont fall again, I wont mess anything up! Yay! I am SO excited! This news came just in time, as I was spiraling into depression again the past week 😑. I hope you arent grossed out by the X-rays Im going to post, I really debated about which ones to send! The first one I wanted to send to my mom with an OOPS! Have to fix this, those dont dissolve! But I couldnt do that to her because she was just too worried and anxious about the appt! That X-Ray was taken during the surgery! The second X-Ray is a side view of my spine now with that long screw into my pelvic bone. I hope I dont gross anybody out, but its so fascinating to me what they can do now, and its my prayer that this worked! The doc said hes not even going to talk about pain right now because it takes a while to all settle down and heal.
