it was an interesting (and dry!) weekend at Sawdust. three things Sunday morning stood out to me: 1. I sold one of my **favorite** pieces to a couple who had just entered the grounds. (if you turn right at the entrance, mine is the first booth you reach.) the wife wanted to wait until they had seen more booths, but the husband insisted they just get it. (he won.) 2. a woman said my penguin ornament looked just like her companys mascot, JiJi. she was with a large party, and every member who passed by said, theres JiJi. then one member in the party bought JiJi for the first woman. 3. a woman bought one of my ornaments. she said that each year, she and her husband put up a metal tree and put only one ornament on it. she said this year, mine would be the one ornament. three more weekends to go, including a three-day Thanksgiving weekend. hope to see many of you there...
