its crazy what this world is coming to. i sit here on the couch thinking about the shooting... my sister and i and my nieces along with Travis were all at the fair grounds and heard the gunshots go off and thought nothing of it. looking at each other saying hmm what was that.. someone probably got shot. only to find out that someone really was shot.. its insane to me that something happens like this in a town where i feel safe.. who is sick enough to just go off shooting people?! it really bothers me knowing i heard the gunshots and i was so close to them.. obviously something is wrong with the person and their chemical imbalance was wrong and they went to another place.. but that leads me to why do our bodies and minds work the way they do? it makes me terrified for my kids in the world they will grow up in. always be aware of your surroundings and be careful of what you say to others and how you say it. i am praying for the victims of the shooting and hoping they pull through.
