its just like anything else. It only takes a handful to ruin something beneficial to a majority. Uniforms in schools started because to many kids took advantage of how they dressed. Many way to provocative for a classroom. Seatbelts being worn because to many people were not keeping themselves or their children under control while driving. so on and so on ... and now people are complaining about this FS business. Well take a look and see why. Too many people have abused this system and have chosen to use it as a way of life. It was never meant to be used that way. If youre a person that needs it temporarily than yes by all means do so, but do it with the knowledge that it is not something to depend on for the rest of your lives. If you are disabled, elderly, than I believe those are exceptions to the rule. But if you have no broken body parts., of sound mind then you have no excuse to sit back and be a leech. As I said use it temporary but do not become dependent. I was in desperate need of assistance years ago and denied. I had myself and six others all depending on me for support. I was the only source of income. I made barely minimum wage then but I managed because I had to. I had no help. I sacrificed and went days upon days working and not eating just to pay the bills and take care of those I needed to take care of. I did without but I lived. I also pulled myself., kept improving my situation and became a much stronger individual through it all. It was unfair I had to struggle while others who made more and had less to take care of got assistance. It pissed me off. But if I had gotten the assistance then would I have become the strong person I am today? I wonder.
