its sad the world i live in today. I MYSELF experienced something similar just the other day...was with a few friends who will remain nameless, but i stopped to help out a guy that was from my moms Home town North Dakota who was stranded at the mall....i asked the guy a bunch of questions about N.D that he answered without having to think....guy was like maybe 60, was stranded here with a broke down car....i felt bad so i gave the guy $10.00 NO LONGER THEN GETTING IN THE CAR, did my friends start making fun of me for giving the guy money. which is bullshit. just because i have a big enough heart to help someone in need, i get backlash...im sure to a point they were just messin around, but then again, i think they were serious to a point....sad this is what the worlds come too.
