ive been thinking ahead to the scottish referendum in september, and beyond, and im wondering what new nomenclature we should invent for the various countries, in case of a vote for independence. we in this active facebook group could actually steal the march from the royal commissions, public inquiries, and nomenclature outreach focus groups which whitehall officials will call into being if the matter is left to them. the united kingdom could become the fragmented, or the dispersed, or the depleted kingdom. and great britain, having lost such an important part culturally as well as geographically and demographically, would have have to become lesser britain, or diminished britain, or even minor britain. what do people think?
