ive lived downtown for a while now, and the more that i do... ...i realize how much of suburban life is a lie. there arent currently resources to promote your 2.5 hr roundtrip five times a week, yet no one that lives in a suburb is willing to admit that. every day they drive the price up. do yourself and the world a favor, if you work in the city, move back to the city. we need you, you are just as safe if not safer down here, and youll save a ton of money and be able to put that towards making other dreams possible. stop driving so much, work where you live, and get to know some of your neighbors. it will do us all a lot of good.
