[jay-z, memphis bleek + sauce moneys what the game made me] honestly, this is the song that made me fall in love with jay-z. granted, i fell in love with him when he had the ÿ and not the y, but i wasnt a day one fan. reasonable doubt sounded like hell on earth lite judging from the singles. in my lifetime vol. 1 sounded like ill na na lite judging from the singles. i was in full no limit mode when the I Got the Hook Up soundtrack came out. track #4 is easily the best record on that album...or any album...to this day. and jay-z shows up with the best lyrics he wouldnt match until 99 problems yeah. i hate 99 problems but that song is incredible lyrically. also memphis bleek yelling a verse over a phone from jail never hurts. im wishin arthritis on all writers who knock my hustle/ how can YALL understand the struggle/ its hard to live when i got greedy *****s in the mix/ knowin i outclass greasy *****s in the six/ so i outblast til theres empty clips/ so i outlast, ***** survival of the fit/ one life, i gotta make sure its done right/ coz ive yet to have a conversation about reincarnation
