If he spent one minute per document, carefully reviewing whether each one was properly classified or whether it was instead evidence of an activity worthy of whistleblowing, it would have taken him around 6 years of full-time work. Clearly, he did not do this work. It actually took 125 people 10 months of work to evaluate the documents, as mentioned in this article: washingtonpost/world/national-secur... Manning indiscriminately leaked classified documents when he had no idea of their sensitivity or what damage they would cause. His actions were not responsible whistleblowing nor worthy of sympathy.
