joined SNP soon after the referendum when i saw all the posts going up how we were all going to be stronger if everyone became a member.I also at same time saw all the food being donated for foodbanks and thought if people need to go for food then how could they then afford to join anything .I then thought maybe some of us could help others and through a group my son set up for me after i personally had paid for 6 others to join the SNP and others also then decided to gift a membership for people struggling financially .For people like me £5.00 is not a lot of money but for others it might be crucial.My son then put up a site SNP for Me which directly linked people wanting a membership with those willing to gift one but sadly someone reported it to the SNP and the e-mail sent to my son from the SNP can be seen on Scotlands Pulse group page.The result being the site had to be shut down.To say i felt gutted was an understatement as had sat days upon days trying to help others less fortunate than myself and to get others involved.Through the link i went on to help 4 others get memberships as did so many more people but it appears the SNP do not encourage memberships bought for others in this way so i personally would like to apologise to everyone who had their name on the list either as a person requiring membership or those who were willing to gift for thinking up such a ludicrous scheme in such a fair and democratic society. I will be taking some time out now to spend with family and friends neglected since the 19th but will be back soon
