just a 4 - 7 day foster needed!! A super nice person, Kate, began fostering this equally super nice 7 mos. old puppy last Friday. Kate knew she could only take the pup (we call her Snuggles now) for only 1 week, because she is leaving for NY today (wont be back until the 5th). Kate says she is the sweetest, most loving, most gentle, most dog-friendly pup ever!! (always snuggling in her lap, etc.. hence, the name). Snuggles has been getting over her cold nicely, but still has traces of it. Kate absolutely LOVES this puppy, and SO does not want to bring her back to the Shelter. She called Animal Control yesterday, to ask if it was OK if she brought Suuggles to NY with her.. (of course, the answer was no..) Is there anyone who could foster Snuggles for the remaining 4-7 days? (Kate and I were messaging late last night, and I fell asleep in the midst of it.. She may have already had to bring Snuggles to Animal Control.. I dont know what time her plane takes off.. but, either way.. whether Snuggles is still with her -or- back at the Shelter.. if you could take her today, that would be great!) Kate says that she could, literally, see the joy in Snuggles when she left the Shelter, and cannot bear to think of her going back. Also, many more pups were added to quarantine, so there is no guarantee that Snuggles would be safe! (and, as you know, it is a numbers game, so even if Snuggles is spared, another pup is likely to be euthd.. for space.) Thank you, in advance, for stepping up for 4 - 7 days of SNUGGLES!!
