just a little bit of history Kerang is a small regional town with an estimated population of around 4,300 people and an area population of around 11,000. We are situated in the North West region of Victoria on the Murray Valley Highway. The branch opened here on Monday the 12th of May 1986 in Victoria st, back then we were known as the Bendigo Building Society. The branch only had two staff members at the time, The manager Maurice Auricht who came across from the State Bank is still manager here today! We quickly grew strengthening our position in the business and wider community, being involved in fundraising and community events. In 2009 The Bendigo Bank moved into the 21st century by opening up branches of the future, Kerang was one of the first!. This proved our commitment to our community and cemented the banks industry track record in leading customer business satisfaction. At this time we moved just a few doors up the street into our current premises. We now have three full time staff members and three part time staff. We offer a wide range of services including our regular visiting financial advisor John Bawden, and access to business bankers.. We sell foreign cash and cash passports, as well as being able to meet all your insurance needs.
