just a thought here i don t normally make any mad statements on this cos its not really the place in my opinion but i see the water charges issue almost reaching boiling point and its great to see people standing up for a change but i m sorry to say you have been in or about a 20 years too late when the banks handed out money to fill developers pockets ...not a word.. when irish jobs were tendered out to the lowest bidder..not a word..when our natural resources were given away ..not a word .. when the 4th reich insisted we bail out failed banks with our hard earned money ...not a word ... when irish kids as well as their parents are faced with emigration on a biblical scale again !!!!! the biggest fight that is been tackled is water charges well have a little think about it people when i was a kid growing up in the sticks and water was needed i went to the well with a bucket and progress was when you bought a pump and stopped carrying buckets and major progress was when you sunk a well and a pump and found yourself with an abundance of water ...but unfortunately at a cost as wells don t sink themselves pumps don t fall from the sky and the esb does not make allowances for electricity used in supply of your free water ....now don t get me wrong i hate what is happening to my country as much as the next person ...but just stop and think about it people there are bigger issues and ..this one is a divide and conquer one because not everyone has the advantage of water mains ......united we stand divided we fall
