just about to start on the 10 Paracelsian pages. In the meantime, listening to songs of World War II such as this one, Lili Marlene. Kind of a universal song in North Africa in the war. Soldiers of Rommels Afrika Korps sang it as did British soldiers in Montgomerys 8th Army. Pattons American troops sang it as did the Australians defending Tobruk. Each side sang it in their own language and translated the lyrics to their own language but it was the same song. Heres the original version of Lili Marlene (originally called Lili Marleen) by Lale Andersen from 1938-39 that probably would have been played at El Alamein, Tobruk, El Agheila, Kasserine or Halfaya Pass. the most famous version was the re-recording by Marlene Dietrich that came out later in the war. https://youtube/watch?v=8btnYYDbkqQ
