just because its 25 years... ca. 1989:::end of cold war/fall of berlin wall & my 1st journey to europe october---picked up by my cousin bing & her then husband, klaus @ hamburg airport & drove straight to east germany to visit west berlin; re pix below; 1 lunch in an east german restaurant 2-5 landmarks of west berlin & dinner w/ klaus daughter who lived there 6-7 house of my cousin(s) in wilhelm shaven & that BMW in front would take us (#7 except ollie) across europe-germany, austria, switzerland, italy, france & belgium 8-11 the garden of versailles 14-15 last night of the tour & maybe because of lack of funds or just for a mere experience, we slept inside the car. haha freshened up & changed the following day in this restroom 12-13 hamburgs red district w/ auntie deling & uncle heinrich 15-16 wala lang?! flew back to new york in nov, few days before the fall of berlin wall! those fond memories w/ relatives & newly met friends will linger in my mind forever...i love you all sad to say---klaus, auntie deling & uncle heinrich are no longer w/ us. may you all rest in peace.
