just been down dropping a poppy in the sea for me Dad (he always wore one every remembrance) and it struck me as I was sat by the side of the road, Im so thankful that we had those brave souls to defend us, all those years back, thoughtless and selfless they were, must have been absolutley terrifying fighting in a war. Im absolutley sure it wouldnt happen now, in this me me me world Also canny upset at all the people who just went about their business when the bells tolled You couldnt even be bothered to stand still and remember or think of, a relative, friend or anyone who served, or is still serving Bet many of those found time to post the Poppy offends, Britains full crap that is usually around at this time of year though (Probarbly took the same amount of time as silent rememberance I wear a poppy every year, and no one has ever told me it offends them, (Wouldnt be responsible for my actions if they did mind)
