just came from the movie theaters and saw a preview for d.u.f.f. (designated ugly fat friend) and am p sickened and frustrated that the movie industry is still trying to profit off of the stupid, unhealthy, unoriginal transformation from conventionally unattractive/unappealing girl to bombshell or whatever shit plot again. everyone has their insecurities, and this movie is literally telling whoever sees it that they have to conform to the ideals of a some ripped jock in order to be of value like ugh gross
