just following on from another thread.. has anyone else suffered prejudice against your horse because he/she is an Arabian at horse shows? I used to show my boy in Riding horse classes at local shows if their were no Arabian classes to enter with his Arab mane flowing and we would be low down the line, so the following show season as an experiment I plaited his 2ft long mane and tail, I never rode him any differently in my ridden show so nothing had changed in that respect, but he would either win the class or come 2nd!!!!!! its crazy! This is a photo of him winning a championship plaited..... we eventually won championships unplaited in the end. :-D
