just got back from elk hunting got stuck on top of a moutain 9000 ft so cold that the waterbottle in my pocket froze. It was a bad nite.slept on the snow with the horses saddle banket for a cover the saddlepad on top of the snow and the saddle for a pillow. If I had not brought a emergancy flare to start the frozen wood on fire I would have lost my toes. Chased those elk all over the mountain they made fools of us.so good to be home hot water and a wood stove I think Ill sleep for a week!
