just got back from the meeting about the traffic system in kirkby turn out of about 20 residents and only one said he agreed with the proposals .basically they are turning the one way system around and sending the busses up pond street .as i said i only heard one agreement from the public the rest were against it. alot of good arguments were put to the council,and they responded as best they could even admitting to a few oversites that they had not taken into account ,they will email all who attended to answer our questions and i for one will pass on any news.we told them we require more notice and more advertisement of meetings in future so the turn out could be more .if you really care about kirkby please attend an hour out of your time to make your town better is all i ask.
