just had the most awesome conversation with my nephew jakie,, we talked and talked. he began to tell me how his daughter over the past months had grown so close to God, they would read scripture together and discuss God.. jakie said charis had told him she was ready to go to heaven cause she knew it was a beautiful place, but also said well not just yet. he said she talked to him about why didnt Jesus come now because of the shape this world is in, jakie said charis its all in Gods perfect timing.. then we preceded to talk about our family as a whole and the love we have for each other. memories growing up. jakie is at peace with the passing of his precious daughter, he would read to her and talk to her daily at her bedside, even though there was no response he knew she heard him.. I sat there fighting the tears and the cracking of my voice,, I felt his pain and I so wish I could do something to help.. I love this man of God so much.. but I too am blessed to know hes so much apart of my life evn though we are far away. prayers jakie, Jeremy, and megan.
